ISO 281 life and load review
Our engineering desk converts shaft speed, equivalent dynamic load, radial load, axial load, lubricant viscosity and contamination level into a practical L10 h target. The result is a selection note that explains why a deep groove, angular contact, spherical roller, cylindrical roller or CARB toroidal bearing is appropriate. This is especially useful when the buyer only has a legacy part number or a worn sample from a pump, gearbox, fan, conveyor, paper machine or marine auxiliary drive. Instead of matching dimensions alone, we check C/P ratio, minimum load, cage material, internal clearance, operating temperature and relubrication interval. For high consequence assets, the review can include safety factor commentary and a condition monitoring baseline.
